Fun In The Sun At Baker Beach

Take advantage of the gorgeous San Francisco weather and spend a day on one of the top beaches in the San Francisco area. Baker beach is a gorgeous stretch of beach to the west of the Golden Gate Bridge. From this vantage point, you overlook the Golden Gate Bridge to your right and the Marin Headlands directly in front of you. It is a beautiful view, and it is not just the scenery.

It is highly rated amongst tourists and locals alike and there are plenty of nudists who frequent this place. There are plenty of (mostly male) gawkers who come to enjoy the view. For the brave the nude section of Baker beach promises sun worshipers an even tan and some interesting viewing.

North Baker Beach is a wonderful mix of locals, tourists, gays and straight folk. Everyone is welcome to strip down and enjoy the sunshine. Just because it is a nude beach doesn’t mean it’s seedy or dangerous. There is a strict code of conduct regarding such large scale nakedness and visitors are asked not to engage in sexual activity or make advances on those enjoying the all-over sun. If at any stage you feel uncomfortable, you can grab your things and walk to beyond the demarcated area. The rest of North Beach is clothed and frequented by wealthy (and respectably clothed) guests.

There are a wide variety of beach activities you can join in on. Volleyball, kite flying and Frisbee are popular on both sides of Baker beach. And of course, it is pretty entertaining to watch these being played in the nude. This is also a popular surf spot. Be warned the water is cold and most who venture in do so with a wetsuit.

Come and experience a nude beach in one of the most picturesque settings in the world. Visit North Baker Beach and enjoy the San Francisco sunshine, all over…
