Belvedere, California, is situated in Marin County across the Bay of San Francisco, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Traveling by car, it takes approximately 25 minutes to reach San Francisco. Highway 101 is fairly close to Belvedere, and Tiburon is located 1 mile from the community.

The Corinthian Yacht Club in neighboring Tiburon has excellent facilities and also provides splendid views of San Francisco, and the Bay Bridge.
