Belvedere
Belvedere, California, is situated in Marin County across the Bay of San Francisco, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Traveling by car, it takes approximately 25 minutes to reach San Francisco. Highway 101 is fairly close to Belvedere, and Tiburon is located 1 mile from the community.
Belvedere is a small, lively, and affluent family orientated community, and has become one of the most sought after places in the world to live and raise a family. This is an up market town with above average income and a large percentage of residents work from home. This fishing community has progressed to becoming a sailing community. No matter where one live in Belvedere, you are always surrounded by lush leafy foliage and trees, as well as outstanding water views.
There are no shops and restaurants in Belvedere and residents travel by car or high speed ferry to Tiburon which offer a variety of waterfront cafes and restaurants, as well as a supermarket. Belvedere has a great recreation center that is located centrally between San Francisco and Tiburon Boulevard. This is a marvelous location to enjoy walking on the excellent trails within natural beautiful surroundings.
Belvedere is surrounded on three sides by San Francisco Bay and consists of two islands, Belvedere Island and Corinthian Island, and the Belvedere Lagoon. Housing in Belvedere is visibly prestigious, with homes on hilly, wooded islands, and homes on Belvedere Lagoon with boat docks sporting luxury yachts. The Corinthian Yacht Club in neighboring Tiburon has excellent facilities and also provides splendid views of San Francisco, and the Bay Bridge.
