Bel Marin Keys is situated in Marin County, just 20 miles north from San Francisco. The community nestles in the San Francisco Bay area and is 5 minutes from Highways 37 and 101.
Located in the City of Novato, the community of Bel Marin Keys is surrounded by waterways. Although centrally located to the hustle and bustle of major cities, Bel Marin Keys has a unique secluded ambiance. The community features two lagoons, tennis courts, a club house, and the Bel Marin Keys Yacht Club which provide access to San Francisco Bay. A restaurant is located at the yacht club which is only open on a week-end. The lagoons provide great opportunity to fish, swim, sail and water ski.
The beautiful surroundings provide excellent opportunity for hiking and sightseeing. A short 30 minute trip takes visitors to the popular and famous wine countries of Napa Valley and Sonoma. Stafford State Park is a beautiful park to visit, located just 3 miles from the city of Novato, and there are fishing, nature trails and lawn areas with picnic and barbecue facilities for visitors to enjoy.
Bel Marin Keys’ surreal water community hosts several events coordinated by the community center, such as Christmas caroling that is done by boat. Most of the events involve boating and water sports.
