Situated in the rather modish neighborhood of Ashbury Heights, San Francisco Mansion is a luxury 4700-sqaure-ft. Edwardian styled manor built in 1910 in the heart of the city of San Francisco.

The manor boasts 5 bedrooms and 5 baths and can accommodate 8-9 people, and features a gourmet kitchen and three fireplaces. The newly renovated kitchen with a 6-burner Viking stove and an antique island from France, family room, and breakfast room all lead onto a delightful garden with a veranda and waterfall. The master suite, which is very roomy, as well as the living and dining rooms all have fireplaces and are elegantly furnished. There is even a grand piano and a pump organ. Bedrooms on the second floor are carpeted and are naturally lit by the sun. The third floor guest bedroom suite, which is wonderfully large (with an antique, four-poster queen-size bed, a single bed, and private bath), has views of the ocean, Golden Gate Bridge and the Marin headlands. Watching the sun set from this location is utterly amazing. The third floor even has its own private Ping-Pong table. San Francisco Mansion offers all the usual suspects with regards to amenities; including, phone line, four cable TV’s, two VCR’s, stereo, CD player, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, ice-maker, cooking utensils and linens are all provided, washer, dryer and a charcoal grill.

Ashbury Heights is right below Twin Peaks and borders Cole Valley. The coffee shops and restaurants in this area are just three blocks away. The manor is a comfortable walk from Golden Gate Park, and Haight Street, famous during the Hippie movement is only three blocks down. Amazing shops are littered down Haight and Amoeba Records - probably the best music store in the west – is a casual six blocks away.

Travelling out a bit you may want to spend some time hiking, biking, playing golf, tennis, racquetball, basketball, enjoy some leisurely shopping, dine at some great restaurants, take in a bit of live theater, or movies at the cinema, visit museums, or simply do some sightseeing.
