Victorian Flat is located in what is largely known today as North Beach area and was an actual beach, filled in with soil years ago. North Beach was historically an Italian neighborhood but has in recent years attracted diverse people from different back grounds and cultures making the area very energetic and colorful. The weather is typically San Franciscan: moderate, with occasional sunny hours between noon.

Accommodation at Victorian Flat consists of:

Perfect for smallish families the charming traditional Victorian Flat with space to accommodate up to five people. There are two bathrooms and the area consists of 1,200 square feet of hard wood floors and scattered rugs. Two lovely landscaped gardens are a few steps away, one Asian garden off the master bedroom complete with water plants, garden lights, a bamboo fountain and potted pond. The other garden called the Lucca Garden is based on our trip to Luca Italy, and also based on the fact that many of the tenants form the area are immigrants from Luca, a mere tribute to them. The plants are indigenous to Italy.

The bedrooms are fitted with comfortable beds, two pillows a person, an alarm clock, extra linen and ample storage space as well as closets with a sufficient number of hangers. The first bathroom is equipped with laundry facilities (dryer and washer) and the second with a lovely Jacuzzi and shower. Also in the second bathroom floor and counter are made of Carrere marble and there are some period fixtures such as hardware and a chandelier. The flat also offers central heating, full security with a video/audio security device and a fire alarm. There is also a collection of games and books for stay-at-home entertainment for the family.

A large theatre style living room is equipped with satellite TV and a DVD player. The room is a blend of Art Deco and Victorian furnishings adding to the warm cozy ambience. An office is adjacent from the kitchen and facilities in this room include a telephone, answering machine, printer, copier, DSL basic office supplies, office tools, and SF guides. Local calls are free. The gourmet kitchen is perfectly equipped to prepare hearty home cooked meals with a gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, garbage disposal, a trash can, as well as some cleaning equipment – a broom, mop, vacuum, and cleaning supplies.

There are plenty to do in the area and the list is endless. Local forests brace the area and supply ample hiking, bird watching, cycling opportunities. Beaches are located close by as well as theme parks, museums, restaurants, winery tours, playgrounds, a library, and water parks. We also have a hospital in the area and San Francisco International Airport is the local airport.
