This neat, cosy, 2-bedroom, 2-bath house (that comfortably sleeps six people) was built in the secure, gated community of Seadrift in 1985 by its first owner who lived there year round. The owner designed the house with a love for the natural views. Open all the shades and experience the magnificence of the lagoon and surrounding greenery. The brilliant natural light streams through the many windows in hues both intense and soft. The egrets, pelicans and herons will charm you as they harmoniously occupy the Bolinas estuary.
Stinson Beach Vacation Home has a bright, warm, modern interior. It’s hardwood floors, many windows and sliding doors allow the maximum amount of light into the house. Outside there is a wonderful sunken fire pit surrounded by wooden shell chairs that look out over the lagoon. The Seadrift lagoon is great for swimming and water sports. A large protected deck is a great place to relax, read or sunbathe between jumping in and out of the hot tub, away from the wind that often affects the beach. The view from the tub, of the hills leading to Mt Tamalpais, is magical.
The house has no television therefore encouraging the use of the imagination. There are many books and games to occupy oneself and many comfortable chairs for reading and snoozing and passive armchair bird watching. Or, take a walk along one of the many trails that go from Stinson Beach into the West Marin Mountains, allowing you to experience different surroundings and animal life.
